Technical Architect –
UK
Samrays is looking
for a Technical Architect who will play a key role defining
architectures across the organization, providing systems solutions
during the solution sale process, detailing applications architectures,
and standards. Ideally you will have a strong understanding of Linux /
UNIX and Java based solutions. Current technologies revolve around a
Microsoft .NET (C#) front end, Java based middle tier, with Back End
technologies to be defined but likely to utilise plug & play vendor
solutions. In depth understanding of the software lifecycle are highly
desirable. You would take leading role in architectural design,
integration and testing. Develop strategy and vision for future of a
major project. Ensure alignment between business requirements and IT
architecture covering full life cycle. Oversee the delivery of solutions
from pre-defined 3rd party suppliers.
It will be necessary
that you specialise in at least one technology domain (e.g. application
development/design, operating platforms & infrastructure. Databases,
networks) and also will be able to relate to other complementary
technology domains.
Knowledge of
multi-platform systems integration is a added advantage as well as
strong mentoring, persuasive and collaborative skills. In exchange for
